Scott Construction Company, Inc., our employees and strategic partners take pride in knowing that we have helped build the California Central Coast communities — from housing developments to flagship wineries — from the ground up. Every project leaves a legacy of making our home a better place to live, work and play. R.W. Scott Construction Company, Inc. is a General Engineering Contractor, founded in 1969 by Robert and Sheryl Scott. Their two sons, Steve and Mike, were a large part of the family business and assumed management of the company in the early 1990s.

Steve and Mike Scott are committed to continuing the family philosophy of a team-oriented business with the same values and integrity that has made them a respected leader in the industry for over 50 years.

Principals

Steven C. Scott

Steve Scott is the current President and General Manager of the company. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Oregon Institute of Technology. Steve has over twenty years experience in the construction industry.

Michael A. Scott

Mike Scott is the current Vice President of Operations for the company. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University. Mike has over thirty years experience in the construction industry.

Robert W. Scott

Robert founded R.W. Scott Construction Company, Inc. (formerly R.W. Scott Construction Company) in 1969. He served as the President from 1969 until he retired in 1993. Robert has over forty years in the construction industry, including work for large construction firms in the Los Angeles area. He has extensive experience in development projects including large subdivisions. Robert served as a senior advisor for several years after his retirement.
